JOB DESCRIPTION

The Portfolio Servicing team is hiring a Portfolio Coordinator to join our Affordable Housing group. The Portfolio Coordinator provides financial performance analysis, risk assessment support and compliance monitoring for a portfolio of US Bank tax credit investments. Engages as front-line contact with customers and investment partners to coordinate communications, requests for information and financial and operational reporting. Key responsibilities include accurately dispositioning over 10,000 reporting items per year in our database, updating requirements based on investment status, and working with internal partners on customer requests.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Typically a Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Generally two to four years of job-related experience

PREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

  • Experience and technical knowledge of real estate development, property management or tax credit financing preferred
  • Understanding of financial principles and capable of reading and interpreting financial statements of partnerships, corporations and individuals
  • Well-developed analytical and problem solving skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with relational databases
  • Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to interpret data
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
