Are you looking for a 6 to 12 month high-impact internship in a globally leading company? Are you an enthusiastic learner who has a passion for Logistics and Transportation Systems, and enjoys working in a company in which your development is key? We are offering an exciting opportunity for the position of Implementation Intern.

As an implementation intern, you will…

  • Oversee end-to-end management of transport IT projects, ensuring seamless communication and timely issue resolution.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans aligned with objectives, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal/external stakeholders in DCT projects, coordinating and organizing meetings, workshops, and training sessions to ensure follow-up tasks are completed and support project deployments.
  • Facilitate hands-on user training for new DCT systems/processes and provide in-depth user support during testing and country-wide deployments, ensuring system issues are resolved prior to deployment.
  • Utilize SQL queries and data retrieval techniques to extract relevant information for project needs.
  • Apply data linking methods to ensure system integrations and data consistency, supporting decision-making and troubleshooting.
  • Support transport programs through detailed financial reporting, tracking budgets, costs, and analyzing variances.
  • Provide analytical support to ensure programs meet financial targets and identify areas for cost improvement.

Who are we looking for?

  • Ability to collaborate across teams and departments, fostering a cooperative work environment.
  • Experience in managing complex IT Logistics or transport projects is beneficial
  • Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Basic knowledge in Java and C++ for effective communication with technical teams and troubleshooting. *XML and API knowledge are a plus
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office suite, including MS Project, Visio, PowerPoint, Power BI, Excel, and database management skills using SQL for data extraction, analysis, and testing.
  • Currently enrolled in an university majoring in IT, Business Management or related field
  • Fluency in English on the business level

It will be a plus if you:

  • Hold a recognized project management certification (e.g., PMI, PRINCE2).
  • Demonstrated proficiency in project planning, risk management, and resource optimization
  • Know one of the European languages (e.g., German, French, Spanish) is advantageous, but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with other project management tools (e.g Jira) and platforms is beneficial.
