Skills:

  • Strong/Broad experience of occupational pension schemes, including administration and the interpretation and application of scheme rules
  • Understanding of the application of complex pensions calculations in administration
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of DB/DC arrangements.
  • Experience of the implementation of pension arrangements, including bulk transfers of DB and DC arrangements
  • Experience of providing assistance to others in the management of projects and change
  • Comfortable communicating technical information to a wide range of stakeholders in an effective manner
  • Effective stakeholder management
  • Knowledge of pensions systems and administration methodolog

Responsibilities:

  • To lead all aspects of data analysis and calculation activity across new business and internal transfer activity, supporting the delivery of the implementation portfolio across TPT

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the data and pension technical requirement workstreams of new business onboarding projects.
  • Conduct data audit and mapping analysis on all new business and bulk transfer activity to ensure the accurate, timely and secure transfer of all member data.
  • To lead the creation of benefit specifications for new business, liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure TPT can effectively administer the scheme on go live.
  • To work with system and process experts across TPT to ensure process efficiency and automation of scheme calculations for go live of new business.
  • Identify, plan and implement continuous improvement in the onboarding process which lead to improvements in administration functionality and positive member outcomes.
  • To undertake the role of subject matter expert on the transferring schemes benefit structure and administration processing, including analysis of all information received for the scheme during the transfer.
  • To produce, maintain and monitor delivery plans and processes to successfully implement or transfer business across TPT, supporting the Implementation Manager as required.
  • To ensure risk management principles are applied to all function activities.
