SKILLS

Traction Rec’rs come from a variety of backgrounds, and we are eager to find people that are from diverse backgrounds. Typically, we find that people are successful in this role when they have:

  • Degree/diploma in Business, Information Systems or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years technology, consulting and/or internal technology management experience
  • Strong experience in systems implementation, administration and/or ongoing improvement, especially in training end users, change management, creating standard operating procedures and helping organizations through large amounts of process change.
  • Technical or process design acumen to translate business requirements into functional design
  • Excellent listening skills to fully understand customer requirements and pain points
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to meet tight deadlines, while working in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to build trust remotely as well as in-person
  • Proven ability to design and optimize business processes and integrate business processes across disparate systems
  • Past experience in user training or rolling out new technology to end users
  • Experience in the non-profit sector, specifically related to donor, membership and program management
  • Effective independent time management and prioritization
  • Bonus points if:
  • You’ve worked in nonprofit, community centers, such as YMCAs
  • You’ve worked in the Salesforce ecosystem.
  • You’re a results oriented person who likes to roll up their sleeves to get things done.
  • You’re energized by a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

THIS ROLE IS OPEN TO REMOTE CANDIDATES IN CANADA WITH PREFERENCE FOR EST-BASED APPLICANTS

We’re looking for an Implementation Specialist to join our team and be part of our next stage of growth. As an Implementation Specialist, your top priority is to support our customers in system migration while building strong and trusted relationships. You are an advisor who seeks to understand and define problems. You will be responsible for proactively supporting our customers for a range of scenarios including implementing Traction Rec, configuring Salesforce, analyzing business requirements, designing process solutions, and training customers to meet their business needs.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Work with the client to understand their current business issues and pain points
  • Gather and document requirements to support business solution design results
  • Maintain awareness of industry best practices for Nonprofit Cloud offerings
  • Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions that best leverage Traction Rec, the Salesforce platforms, and associated products
  • Articulate the benefits and risks to a solution’s feasibility and functionality
  • Declarative Salesforce configuration to support client requirements
  • Robust training and enablement for customers on Salesforce and Traction Rec functionality to help them build their own capabilities
  • Follow and understand new Salesforce product and technical capabilities
  • Work with the client to build out their CRM strategy and roadmap, enabling both quick wins and longer-term strategic goals
  • Collaborating with internal support team to assist clients after system go live as needed
  • Travel to clients (Must be able to travel in Canada and US, without restriction)
