Imports Intern

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s Degree in International Trade or related (7th semester or above)
  • English – Advanced
  • Availability to work 4-5 hours daily

Responsibilities:

  • Audit and process US and CA customs broker invoices for payment.
  • Monitor, calculate and measure the missing, non-transmitted and/or pending invoices.
  • Contact the internal Michelin import requesters for accurate payment accounts.
  • Measure and monitor the volume of missing or non-transmitted invoices and communicate to Michelin´s customs brokers.
  • Follow-up and log the special projects´ invoices to ensure payment.
  • Communicate and alert import analyst´s and specialists of customs entry packet corrections and amendments.
  • Alert import analysts and specialists of required duty refunds.
  • Receive and process invoice payment rejection requests to request accurate accounts and processing.
