At Lion we brew and deliver an iconic range of Adult Beverages and now you have the opportunity to play a critical part in ensuring our service and offering is just as iconic. We are looking for an Improvement Engineer to join our Packaging team at The Pride Brewery, East Tamaki.
In this influential role, you will ensure early management principles are consistently applied to deliver best practice change management. You will also develop the capability of the production teams to manage trials and NPD implementation across shifts under the guidance of Packaging Leaders. Additionally, you will:
- Ensure focussed improvements are delivered and validated to Lion Engineering and Safety standards
- Own coordination activities for NPD including validation preparation and review.
- Deliver effective early management of NPD and capital within Packaging
Key to your success will be:
- Demonstrated ability to business partner and constructively challenge.
- Change management - ability to think, communicate and influence change.
- An understanding of processing and packaging within a FMCG or manufacturing environment.
- High level process improvement skills with analytical ability and strategic problem-solving skills.
- Experience in the use of a TPM framework, or similar lean methodologies, to drive performance improvement
- Capability in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Controls and Automation.
- Tertiary qualification within Engineering, or relevant proven experience.
