As the In-Home Behavior Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in individuals’ lives, making a significant impact through:

  • Serving individuals diagnosed with developmental disabilities through a 100% state funded Family Support Services grant program
  • Providing in home behavioral service, including testing, evaluation, consultation, intervention, and development of behavioral management plans and goals as required by the needs of the individual being served
  • Providing education and training to family members regarding behavioral strategies
  • This position was designed to be of service not only to individuals in need who are living at home, but also to serve as a support for their family members

In-Home Behavior Specialist Minimum Salary: $47.62/hour additional rates include $15.50/hour training and $25/hour drive-time
In-Home Behavior Specialist Maximum Salary: $47.62/hour additional rates include $15.50/hour training and $25/hour drive-time
In-Home Behavior Specialist Schedule: Flexible scheduling; approximately 5 hours per week

Qualifications:

  • Valid NYS Driver’s License and personal transportation
  • Master’s Degree in Psychology, Special Education, or Social Work
  • A minimum of one year of experience working with individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities

Responsibilities:
