We are looking for dedicated In-Home Carers to provide high-quality, person-centered. Your role will be crucial in helping people achieve their goals, enhance their quality of life, and improve their physical and mental health.
Key Responsibilities

As an In-Home Support Worker your responsibilities will include:

  • Individualised Support: Providing a range of services tailored to meet the unique needs of clients, such as housekeeping, personal care, toileting, meal preparation, medication management, and more.
  • Knowledge and Care: Demonstrating an understanding of health and well-being, transition plans, and behavior support plans. You will also be knowledgeable about protocols regarding BSP and medication requirements.
  • Community Inclusion: Assisting clients in participating in community activities and services based on their preferences and abilities. You will help them establish and maintain relationships and interests.
  • Communication: Providing regular feedback to the In-Home Care Manager regarding issues that require follow-up. This includes matters related to Participants, their families, external supports, fellow employees, and community access activities.
  • Compliance: Adhering to UFC’s Code of Conduct, policies, and Quality Management System procedures to ensure the highest standards of care and support.
  • Safety and Wellbeing: Demonstrating a strong commitment to the safety and well-being of yourself, Participants, and others in the work environment.

About You

You will thrive and succeed in our team by bringing the following experience to this position:

  • Preferable 2 years experience supporting people in a related sector including with a disability, mental illness, community services, aged care, or rehabilitation environment
  • Drivers License
  • Experience working within In-Home Care environment
  • Ability to meet deadlines, work with minimal supervision, be proactive and follow care plans.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills and a demonstrated ability to write clear case notes.
  • Understanding of WHS procedures
