We have an exciting, In-house Legal Counsel opportunity, which will join our established Legal team based at our Head office in Leith, Edinburgh. This is a newly created role as a result of growth, and presents a unique opportunity to gain quality, varied exposure on a wide range of legal work.
This role would suit someone with around 2 years PQE experience gained within private practice, or in-house, with a background in commercial law.
Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
Within this role you will reporting directly to our Head of Legal, and will work in a small, established team who provide a wide range of services both internally and externally.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Provide commercially focused legal advice on commercial contracts with customers, suppliers and other key stakeholders.
- Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts
- Assisting with company secretarial duties
- Supporting with regulatory and compliance matters
- Staying up to date with legislation relevant to the company and its activities
