Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced Part-Time Lawyer to provide legal support to our growing software business. This position will involve reviewing, drafting, negotiating, and managing contracts, and offering legal advice to support business operations, strategic decisions, and corporate compliance. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced and innovative environment, this role may be a great fit for you.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Contract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate corporate, vendor, and client contracts, ensuring alignment with our company’s philosophy, operations, and strategy. Manage contracts, including renewals and revisions based on company needs.
- Corporate Governance and Compliance: Monitor and maintain compliance with corporate legal obligations and applicable legislation.
- Strategic Advice: Provide legal guidance to support business operations and strategic decision making based on assessment of risk, cost, benefit and feasibility. Provide support to business units as needed.
