Working hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Hybrid: Office and home working. A minimum of 3 days a week working in our Head Office, Sheffield, S35 2PW. Employees are able to utilise our office facilities more should they wish to. This can vary depending upon work requirements. We offer free onsite parking.

Reporting to our Senior Solicitor and Deputy Compliance Officer, this is a key role where you will provide technical expertise, advice and assistance to the UK businesses on legal, commercial, contractual and compliance matters.

In this role you will use your skills to support the UK businesses on commercial projects and transactions, identifying risks and providing mitigation measures and solutions through appropriate contractual documents and commercial arrangements.
HERE’S WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO BE DOING…
- Manage the implementation of the legal services, healthcare compliance and anti-corruption strategies for the UK businesses. To monitor their effectiveness and to recommend and execute appropriate updates and amendments if necessary.
- Act as a technical expert, provide legal advice and assistance to Group on commercial contracts with UK law and jurisdiction clauses. To work as part of the cross jurisdictional team on high value, complex projects and contracts with a UK law element.
- To manage the UK businesses’ interactions with healthcare professionals via appropriate policies, processes, contracts and forms. To enforce compliance with such policies and processes across the business.
- Draft, review, amend and negotiate commercial contracts, including vendor and customer agreements for products and services.
- Create and maintain the suite of policies, documents and processes in use across the business pertaining to bribery and corruption, and monitor compliance within the business with bribery and corruption legislation and implement enforcement actions where necessary.
- To manage the process of claims and disputes and liaise with Group and insurers on such matters. To provide advice to the local and global business on liability and quantum and to instruct and manage external experts and advisors as necessary.
- Assist the Data Protection Manager on all Data Subject requests, including data access requests, data deletion, amendment and correction requests. To review relevant documents and redact where necessary.
