QUALIFICATIONS

• Excellent command of the English language – written and verbal. Other languages an asset
• Excellent guest service experience, desire to meet and exceed guest expectations
• Previous Food & Beverage Server experience required
• Cash handling experience
• Basic knowledge of wines, beer and liquors, and food preparation
• Impeccable grooming, professional image, friendly and outgoing personality
• Strong sense of accountability, detail-oriented individual
• Ability to work as part of a team and work independently with limited supervision
• Serving it Right certification required
• Food Safe certification required (can be provided)
• Ability to lift, balance and carry trays and other heavy items to a weight over 20 lbs
• Ability to stand for long periods of time

Hilton Whistler Resort & Spa is looking for an outgoing, positive In-Room Dining Server to join Food & Beverage Team. This position involves providing excellent guest service, meeting and greeting guests, as well as essential serving skills. Duties include receiving telephone orders from guests, preparing and delivering orders, handling guest requests and queries, effective communication with the Culinary team, and managing side-duties, all in a timely and professional manner.
