The Inbound Business Development Representative role offers an exciting entry point into the Trustpilot network, introducing new customers to our platform. We’re seeking a creative and motivated individual with sales experience to be the first point of contact for our small- to mid-sized customers.
The ideal candidate will focus on qualifying new business opportunities, introducing prospects to Trustpilot’s entry-level solutions, and closing the sale. We’re seeking a positive individual who can engage with C-level executives, sparking interest in how our product can benefit their business. Someone who has the drive to not only meet but exceed sales targets.
Working closely with our management team, you’ll have the opportunity to advance and grow your career in sales. Self-motivated professionals with a solid foundation in software sales, along with some prior experience in sales and closing, will thrive in this role.

Responsibilities:
- Work on inbound-based leads within criteria set by the business/operations team (Small & Medium businesses only).
- Prospect and identify accounts to target that have previously engaged with our product through self-serve or free use.
- Research prospects and identify stakeholders in order to generate interest and create rapport following through the sales cycle to close.
- Manage expectations and overcome objections.
- Maintain an organized pipeline of both outbound and inbound leads and activity records using Salesforce.com
- Reach and exceed key performance indicators including calls scheduled, calls completed, qualified opportunities and deals won from your meetings.
- Develop skills necessary to grow within your channel or choose to progress into a full Account Executive (’BDM’) role according to business needs.
