EDUCATION

Minimum Level of Education: Diploma in Science, Engineering, Chemistry, or related field. Preferred Level of Education: Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, Chemistry, or related field.

EXPERIENCE

Proven experience ideally in Materials Management, Scheduling, and supply chain in manufacturing or experience in technical processes within the pharmaceutical industry.

Responsibilities:

JOB PURPOSE

Inbound materials planning for all raw materials, solvents, and consumables to ensure ongoing and uninterrupted supply to Production.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain accurate incoming delivery data.
  • Ensure right first time for supplier documentation.
  • Focus on material availability according to the production schedule requirements.
  • Measure supplier performance across critical metrics through performance management.
  • Act as backup to support functions in processing any inventory write-off requests.
  • Collaborate closely directly with Operations Leads and other First Touch functions as required.
  • Assist the Distribution Manager in operating the warehouse and associated storage areas in a cGMP manner that optimizes quality, safety, yield, and throughput performance.
  • Coordinate engineering plant modifications and risk assessments in consultation with SMEs for warehouse areas.
  • Coordinate sampling for the warehouse team.
  • Complete inbound material forecasting to ensure adequate storage space is available for each warehouse area.
  • Plan solvents to target reduction in demurrage costs for the site.
  • Support new business to ensure warehouse area readiness for new customers.
  • Participate in internal, customer, and regulatory audits as required, including necessary preparation and follow-up.
  • Perform any other related tasks assigned by the Distribution Manager.
