JOB DESCRIPTION

U.S. Bank’s Incentive Plan Administration team is hiring an Incentive Plan Analyst. The role is responsible for administration of multiple incentive plans within the Wealth, Corporate, Commercial and Institutional Banking business area. This position necessitates ability to complete work in timely and accurate fashion. The primary systems used by this team are Microsoft Access and Excel and will expand to include Power Bi. In this role, you’ll use critical thinking, analytical and research skills. This role will calculate incentive payments, perform reasonability audits on results and payment submission to payroll, as well as performing advanced data validation and research. Supports business line customers by providing ongoing support by answering basic to complex questions related to incentive plans and source data. Professionally communicates results, reports, and guidance/recommendations.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Two or more years of related experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

  • Strong attention to detail and critical thinking skills
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, V-Look ups, calculations and work with large data sets
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Access and/or Power Bi is a plus
  • Professional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ideal candidate has work experience that involves research, analysis and problem solving within datasets
  • Well-developed organizational, critical thinking, problem solving, process improvement and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks/projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Ability to analyze, identify and resolve incentive related data exceptions

Location: The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there’s an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.
