SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Experience in a similar role
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Relevant Accounting & Finance qualifications
- Have excellent communication skills and the ability to create positive relationships with both suppliers and internal stakeholders
- Experience working in the hospitality industry will be highly regarded
- Knowledge and understanding of accounting concepts
Responsibilities:
THE ROLE
- Check daily transactions processed from outlets and other business units
- Produce daily reports - Revenue Journals, Food Covers, Room Stats.
- Maintain FIAT (Future Income Audit Tool) for resort in timely manner.
- Balance process at month end to ensure all revenue and non-revenue accounted for
- Prepare Journals for month end in relation to revenue and expense items.
- Record and balance hotel expenses other than invoices
- Prepare reports when necessary and follow up with Outlet Managers.
- Assist in completing monthly stocktakes
- Prepare Food & Beverage Reconciliations.
- Minimise risk of fraud/error in daily revenues and banking
