Yellow Door is an amazing charity that is quite literally changing lives for the better in the Southampton area, with a team of around 100 staff and volunteers, working together to prevent and respond to domestic and sexual abuse. We provide a diverse and innovative range of services to local people of all ages and genders. Last year we engaged with over 4,500 clients to provide crucial support, information, and in some cases a lifeline. Right now, our services have never been more in demand, so our volunteers and supporters are absolutely critical to us. Would you like to be part of our amazing team that is changing lives for the better in the Southampton area?
Independent Sexual Violence Advocate (ISVA) Service Manager
We are looking for a hardworking and motivated person with a ‘can do’ attitude to join our ISVA Team. You will work alongside our existing manager, and will share responsibility for managing and supporting a team of ISVAs, allocate clients appropriately, work with our partner agencies, and enable the service to constantly develop and improve outcomes.
The successful candidate will have experience of providing advocacy or case holding, preferably in the area of domestic and sexual abuse. You will also ideally have management experience in the development and delivery of services. Occasional case holding may be required, in line with Service need.
We care about the wellbeing of our team and offer training and reflective practice. We pride ourselves on being an inclusive place to work, where everyone can feel they belong and has something valuable to contribute. For this reason, we warmly welcome applicants from all parts of our rich and diverse community, particularly those from under-represented groups.
