ABOUT THE ROLE

Are you ready to lead a service that truly transforms lives? As the Independent Visitor Coordinator, you’ll be at the heart of this dynamic program, ensuring each young person is matched with the right mentor who can help them flourish. You’ll manage all aspects of the service, from recruiting and training compassionate volunteers to providing continuous support and guidance. Your role will be hands-on and impactful as you:

  • Engage with new volunteers, guiding them through training and helping them understand the profound role they’ll play in a young person’s life.
  • Match volunteers with young people based on their individual needs, personalities, and interests, fostering connections that lead to lasting positive relationships.
  • Monitor and support volunteer activities, ensuring every interaction meets the highest standards of safety, compassion, and care.
  • Collaborate with social workers, carers, and other professionals to keep our young people safe and supported.

This is more than just coordination—it’s about creating a supportive community where young people feel valued, heard, and empowered.
