Job Description

REQUIREMENTS:

• Master’s degree in Technical or Business: Economics, Logistics, Production Management, etc.
• Minimum five year of experience working in procurement in manufacturing or industrial environment
• Knowledge of indirect commodities – Engineering Services, HR Services, Corporate Consulting or others
• Relevant knowledge in strategic sourcing, operational procurement and supply-chain
• Team contributor – comfortable in leading, international and multi-cultural teams
• Exceptionally strong organizational and communication skills. Present results to senior

management and work under stress. Fluent in conducting presentations in English

• Ability to build solid relationships with company partners
• High energy and enthusiasm
• Problem solving oriented and project management skills
• Fluent English (written and verbal)
• Knowledge of management applications (e.g. Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Travel: 5% (Domestic & International)

Rockwell Automation’s hybrid policy aligns that employees are expected to work at a Rockwell location at least Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays unless they have a business obligation out of the office

• Develop and implement the sourcing strategy using input from global Sourcing Managers and global business leaders.
• Guide implementation of the sourcing strategy for assigned commodities. The Manager will also establish working relationships within the departments, bringing a strategic sourcing perspective to all main processes.
• Lead and achieve results of specific sourcing projects within assigned commodities and must be successful at managing and influencing a team. Frequently will work with peers and customers to gain cooperation of others.
• Monitor and evaluate supplier performance of the suppliers related to assigned commodities. Assess risk according to global procedures, conduct regular business reviews with suppliers and partners to ensure continuous improvement of the supply base.
• Responsible for monthly reporting to senior management on measurements within the supply chain.
• Identify and increase productivity improvements by leading joint supplier / unit teams - pursuing TCO reduction opportunities according to the sourcing strategy.
• Identify strategic sourcing best practices and lead these best practices into the Rockwell strategic sourcing toolkit.
