Job Description

  • Procure goods and services not intended for resale (OPEX and CAPEX) but essential for business operations, such as office supplies, equipment, marketing, HR or maintenance services …
  • Manage vendor relationships, including sourcing new suppliers, negotiating contracts, and evaluating vendor performance.
  • Conduct cost analysis and implement cost-saving strategies to optimize procurement processes.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to understand their procurement needs and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier information.
  • Develop and implement procurement policies according to the Metro guidelines and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in procurement to drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with finance departments to identify the savings potential and ensure follow up + resolve potential litigations.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to understand requirements and address concerns promptly.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management or similar field.
  • Skilled in negotiating contracts, evaluating suppliers performance, and implementing cost-saving strategies.
  • Proficient in stakeholder management, ensuring effective communication and collaboration across departments.
  • Advanced proficiency in English.
  • Proficiency in tools such as MMS, UFM, MDW, and Microsoft Office.
