The school will need to ensure that they are not knowingly employing a person who is disqualified under the 2018 Regulations in connection with relevant childcare provision. Accordingly, the successful candidate will be required to demonstrate to the school, by completing a self-declaration form as part of the pre-employment checks process, that they have not been disqualified under the 2018 Regulations.

All Saints are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, committed TA to work 1:1 with pupils with an EHCP in our mainstream class. The successful candidates would ideally have:
A recognised child care qualification at Level 2 or above
Experience of working with pupils with SEND
Knowledge and understanding of the Early Years Curriculum and Makaton would be beneficial
However, the main characteristics we are looking for are candidates who are patient, kind and empathetic towards children with special needs. Everything else can be taught but the desire to support our most vulnerable children is something candidates will demonstrate.
All Saints CE Primary School is a one-form entry primary school situated in Sidley, Bexhill. We have up to 300 children who are organized into single age classes including our thriving Nursery and Specialist SEND facility.
