REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience in industrial cleaning activities on customer sites.
• Working knowledge of Method Statements, Risk Assessments, COSHH Assessments, and Health and Safety Legislation.
• Good team working skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to multitask.
• Full Uk driving licence

OBJECTIVE OF THE ROLE

The Industrial Cleaning Operative will ensure the efficient execution of industrial cleaning tasks at both customer sites and RED Industries Group locations. This role requires adherence to directives from the Industrial Cleaning Supervisor, as well as compliance with job-specific method statements, risk assessments, and COSHH assessments. The operative is responsible for managing their own personal protective equipment (PPE) and working methods in line with the Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS). Additionally, if accredited, the operative will perform First Aider duties.

MAIN DUTIES:

• Ensure efficient execution of industrial cleaning tasks at customer sites and RED Industries Group locations.
• Adhere to directives from the Industrial Cleaning Supervisor.
• Comply with job-specific method statements, risk assessments, and COSHH assessments.
• Manage personal protective equipment (PPE) and working methods according to Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS).
• Perform First Aider duties if accredited.
• Comply with confined space procedures and use high-pressure water jetting equipment.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations and any site-specific requirements.
• Report near misses regularly.
• Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of plant, equipment, and vehicles.
• Ensure all site and customer requirements are met and jobs are completed to the full scope.
• Liaise with customers and site contacts as needed.
• Maintain good communication with the line manager.
