Cascades Containerboard Packaging, a division of Cascades Canada ULC, owns numerous containerboard mills and corrugated products plants in the United States and Canada, Cascades Containerboard Packaging is the largest containerboard producer in Canada and is also a major Canadian manufacturer of corrugated products.
In our maintenance department, we provide ongoing support to our Winnipeg facility. This position requires the desired candidate to work on a rotating shift schedule.

Salary range for Industrial Electrician $32.30/hr or $39.27/hr based on the type of certification held
- Schedule: must be flexible to work rotating shift schedule (8-12 hours; afternoons and overnights; weekends)

Develop your talents by applying your expertise within our facility in Winnipeg, as the Industrial Electrician :
- Ensure all Health and Safety standards are understood and practiced and that all work is being completed in a safe manner
- Provide preventative maintenance services for plant equipment
- Electrical maintenance on automation and manufacturing equipment
- Troubleshoot equipment electrical problems and able to read electrical drawings
- Actively participate in continuous improvement activities as assigned
- Effectively communicate with team members, production staff, and managers
- Adhere to 6S workplace organization standards
- Electrical controls and network installations or repairs as necessary
- Monitor operations to anticipate and prevent any possible production loss due to equipment failure.

- Red Seal Industrial Electrician certification and/or Red Seal Power Engineer certification required
- Completion of a post-secondary Electrical program / Journeyman Certificate required
- Must have experience with Allen Bradley Control Logix PLC
- Experience using VFD controllers
- Manufacturing industry experience would be an asset
- Ability to troubleshoot and work independently.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
