We have an opportunity for an Industrial Electrician to join our close-knit Taupo team. If you have been working in the domestic or commercial arenas and would like to gain some valuable industrial experience, we are open to helping you with this. Exposure to control systems, VSDs, and instrumentation is guaranteed, and we have experienced people to help get you up to speed.

NGA PŪKENGA MATUA | IMPORTANT SKILLS

• Qualified & Registered Electrician, EWRB practising licence.
• Automation Experience and knowledge of Industrial PLC’s, SCADA and Instrumentation an advantage
• Drivers Licence – Class 1 minimum. class 2 & F an advantage
• Computer Literate (ability to complete time and job sheets, and technical literacy to operate static and mobile telemetry devices)Ability to plan jobs, organise your teams, and operate and maintain equipment without supervision.

Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor you will be responsible for undertaking Electrical activities as prescribed to you.
You will be part of a team of Electricians, Apprentice Electricians (and other general duties staff) to undertake a wide variety of Electrical work per contract requirements – Including Project, Planned and Reactive work.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Carrying out associated tasks as required on Industrial Electrical, PLC and SCADA assets as determined by your EICA Team Lead and clients.
• Carrying out maintenance and repairs and new & existing Automation and Electrical installations to be completed promptly and efficiently.
• Other general duties as directed.

You will be required to Travel as needed and will be provided with a tool of trade.
