JOB SUMMARY:

The Industrial Electrician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and testing electrical systems with a particular focus on R744 refrigeration systems. Typical tasks will include pulling wire back to control and distribution cabinets, reading electrical distribution diagrams and control wire drawings, and working with compliance teams to ensure work is completed to code requirements.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical or vocational training preferred.
  • Journeyman or Master Electrician license is an asset.
  • 5+ years of experience as an electrician in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and industry best practices.
  • Proficient in using electrical testing and diagnostic tools.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to work in confined spaces, at heights, and in varying climate conditions.
  • Requires standing, bending, and working on ladders or elevated platforms for extended periods.
