EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Education:
Preference bachelor’s degree in engineering.
Experience:
Preference 4 years of related experience.
Formation:
Preference must have the ability to understand Autocad, SAP and VIS systems, Standard Cost and BOM structure, Microsoft office. Bilingual (English & Spanish) is preferred. Lean Tools knowledge, ergonomics.

Responsibilities:
Develop activities such as: optimum materials handling and the shortest possible through-put times definition for new and current processes; inventory reduction, floor improvement reducing or eliminating waste.
Analyze the different processes and determine the adequate work conditions, related to space, layouts, lighting, breaks, manpower, tools and equipment.
Follow up activities such as: process definition along the projects process engineering team, inventory reduction, material handling improvement, reducing or eliminating waste, taking into consideration ergonomic issues.
Develop new processes layouts for new equipment and introduction of new products.
Manage changes and updates of the master plant layout. Including the review of the desired change sharing the decision of approval or rejection of the request
Conduct periodical audits on the plant to assure the layout is up to date and avoid any installation or material out of the latest layout approved version.
Support activities of the project’s team such as: process definition, standard pack, equipment installation and training of new processes.
Develop Standard Work for new processes.
