PALFINGER is searching for an Industrial Engineer to work in a plant environment. We are located at 341 NW 122, Oklahoma City, OK. This position reports to the Regional Manufacturing & Industrial Engineering Manager.

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • Lean Manufacturing background and knowledge of the like.
  • Strong computer skills: Windows, Word, Excel, Power Point
  • Strong working knowledge of ERP systems: SAP
  • General CAD knowledge: Pro-E, Solidworks, AutoCAD and Creo
  • Team player able to build and maintain relationships with both internal and external colleagues.
  • Flexible to change and open to constructive feedback.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the various aspects of the industrial engineering – including fixture design, project planning, and process development.
  • Provide guidance and engineering support to Continuous Improvement and Quality department.
  • Assist in the development of processing plans, routing structures, work center structures, methods, design, materials handling, manpower requirements, time studies, and cost analysis.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of long- and short-term processing plans.
  • Prepare and review project proposals, studies, and technical reports.
  • Oversee the cost effective, safe, and timely completion of projects that meet or exceed expectations.
  • Apply a sound basic knowledge of safety, environmental, and energy-related issues during the execution of projects.
  • Represent the department within the company and represent the company to external vendors and contractors.
  • Support cross plant initiatives.
  • All other duties as assigned.
