Description:

OUR REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in industrial engineering within the manufacturing industry, including 2-3 years in a leadership role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
  • Understanding of the philosophy and knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools
  • Proven track record of leading successful lean transformation projects.
  • Proficiency in using industrial engineering software and tools
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in English

Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

The Industrial Engineering Manager will be responsible for overseeing all industrial engineering activities within the facility. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills to manage projects, optimize production processes, and implement efficiency improvements. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of manufacturing systems, process optimization, and lean manufacturing principles.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leading and mentoring a team of industrial engineers, providing guidance, training, and development opportunities (15 people)
  • Analyzing and improving production processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and increase profitability.
  • Planning, executing, and monitoring projects aimed at improving manufacturing processes, equipment layout, and workflow.
  • Implementing lean principles and methodologies to streamline operations and improve productivity.
  • Participating and coordinating PFMEA
  • Developing and implementing cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality and safety.
  • Championing a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging innovation and fostering a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Definition and implementation of workstation standards
  • Machine capacity management for the plant
