Description:
OUR REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in industrial engineering within the manufacturing industry, including 2-3 years in a leadership role.
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
- Understanding of the philosophy and knowledge of Lean Manufacturing tools
- Proven track record of leading successful lean transformation projects.
- Proficiency in using industrial engineering software and tools
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English
Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Industrial Engineering Manager will be responsible for overseeing all industrial engineering activities within the facility. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills to manage projects, optimize production processes, and implement efficiency improvements. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of manufacturing systems, process optimization, and lean manufacturing principles.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Leading and mentoring a team of industrial engineers, providing guidance, training, and development opportunities (15 people)
- Analyzing and improving production processes to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and increase profitability.
- Planning, executing, and monitoring projects aimed at improving manufacturing processes, equipment layout, and workflow.
- Implementing lean principles and methodologies to streamline operations and improve productivity.
- Participating and coordinating PFMEA
- Developing and implementing cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality and safety.
- Championing a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging innovation and fostering a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Definition and implementation of workstation standards
- Machine capacity management for the plant
