Description:

ChampionX has an immediate need for an Industrial Maintenance Technician located in Odessa, TX. The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing maintenance and repair services of facility systems such as mechanical, electrical, and building systems.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school education or equivalent or technical training
  • Follow all safety policies and company-wide safety requirements
  • Encourage action assuring safe behavior
  • Challenge unsafe behavior and conditions proactively and positively
  • Regularly and predictably attend work and be punctual
  • Possess good organization and time management skills
  • Have good computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Work in an unsupervised environment

  • Promote continual improvement culture
  • Relevant experience in manufacturing or field service in the oil and gas settings preferred

  • Work will require visits to company’s Permian locations inside and outside of Midland/Odessa.
  • Work normally is not executed in an office or in a cubicle space equipped with a telephone and computer.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, troubleshoot and repair mechanical of facility systems and equipment
  • Understand basics of industrial electrical - single phase and 3 phase power
  • Experience in basic carpentry, painting, basic plumbing, basic electrical repairs, and office/site make ready.
  • Interact politely and professionally with customers and/or coworker
  • Knowledge of methods, practices, and techniques of maintaining building and facilities required.
  • Other duties as required
