• Bilingualism required in French and English (written and spoken)
• Knowledge of mechanics and industrial processes
• Basic welding/electrical/plumbing

• Perform mechanical preventive and corrective maintenance interventions
• Works Independently and pro active
• Building inspections / maintenance (fix & paint) / Modify, repair, install, maintain, improve, and troubleshoot various types of machinery, equipment, and facilities in the production departments
• Manages and prioritizes mechanical assistance requests from all departments
• Ensures that the work is carried out in accordance with good industrial practices and health and safety standards
• Set up programs, controls and set up daily to do sheets.
• Completes daily, weekly, and monthly checklists on building/ equipment maintenance procedures and maintains records of scheduled maintenance procedures
• ·Must be flexible and available when needed
• Offers solutions and ideas for improvement
