Job description
We are seeking a highly skilled Material Planner to join our client, a leader in the supply chain and logistics sector.

Responsibilities:

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

Managing Purchase Requisitions from internal suppliers until the creation of Material Planning documents.
Following up with Procurement on the maturity level of Purchase Requisitions for launching Material Planning documents for external suppliers.
Ensuring and updating the accuracy of material planning master data in compliance with stock and logistic constraints.
Creating Material Planning documents (Call-off, Schedule Agreement) and respective Source List and Quota Management.
Communicating Material Planning documents to suppliers and following up on supplier confirmations.
Identifying priorities associated with risk/impact anticipation and setting up recovery actions.
Organizing and maintaining regular reviews with suppliers to check the status of deliveries and their delivery performances.
Analyzing and managing MRP exception messages and anticipating supply problems (backlogs, shortages, no demand, etc.).
Maintaining delivery dates in ERP and tracking missing parts until stock availability.
Collaborating with Material Planning Management/SDPM to validate underperforming suppliers and define appropriate action plans.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE, YOU SHOULD HAVE:

A degree in Higher Education in Business Administration, Engineering, or Supply Chain.
A Supply Chain certification.
Experience with continuous process improvement, ERP, and SAP.
Skills in Supplier Delivery Performance Management.
Knowledge of inventory management and material planning techniques.
Expertise in industrial scheduling.
Proficiency in data analytics.
Strong procurement skills.
