Description:
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Industrial PLC System Integrator is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining industrial control systems and automation solutions that leverage Programmable Logic Controllers. This role requires hands-on expertise in integrating PLCs with other automation systems, machinery, and industrial equipment in a variety of manufacturing or production environments. The successful candidate will work with clients and internal teams to ensure the seamless integration, optimization, and maintenance of control systems that increase operational efficiency, safety, and reliability.
1. EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Automation Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Relevant technical certifications in PLC programming or automation systems are a plus.
2. EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of [3-5] years of experience working with PLCs in an industrial or automation environment.
- Proven experience with various PLC brands (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider Electric, Mitsubishi, etc.) and industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, Ethernet/IP, etc.).
- Hands-on experience in programming, troubleshooting, and maintaining PLC systems.
- Familiarity with SCADA, HMI systems, and industrial networking.
4. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to work in an industrial setting, including working with machinery, electrical equipment, and control panels.
- Ability to travel to client sites, sometimes requiring extended periods of travel.
- Occasional lifting of equipment or components up to 50 lbs.
- Have your vehicle to get to Job sites.
