Description:

Egg Farmers of Canada is presently seeking an Industrial Products Program (IPP) Specialist to join the IPP team at Egg Farmers of Canada.
The IPP department is responsible for the movement of eggs produced by Canadian farmers into the industrial products market across Canada in the event that they are not needed for the table market. The IPP Specialist is responsible for assisting with the day-to-day IPP operations, and reports to the IPP Manager.
This position is well-suited for a recent graduate with excellent customer relationship skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree or college diploma and/or a relevant combination of education and experience in logistics, supply chain, or project management.
  • Experience in logistics, supply chain or data management is considered an asset.
  • Experience working within Tableau, Salesforce or similar applications is considered an asset.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the IPP unit with supply chain management (i.e. movement of product and supplies nationwide from grading stations to processing stations).
  • Maintain communication with industry partners and key stakeholders.
  • Work directly with program partners.
  • Support the daily operations of the IP Program.
  • Analyze data and develop reports as needed for IPP unit or other units within EFC.
  • Liaise daily with Third Party Verification (TPV) Services.
  • In collaboration with the Supervisor, IPP, develop, implement and maintain TPV program procedures.
  • Monitor supplies inventories at processing stations.
  • Assist with the management of the Industrial Product Release Tracking (IPRT) program.
  • Travel as required to maintain relationships with external stakeholders.
  • Conduct project management activities, as required.Assist and provide complete back up to the Logistics Specialist, IPP.
