Industrial Security Specialist level 3

As an Industrial Security Specialist level 3 at Boeing Intelligence & Analytics you will be responsible for…
- Ensuring all employees are compliant with all Government and Industry Security regulations and policies, including the National Industrial Security Program (NISPOM), Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community Directives and Program guidance.
- Providing security administrative support as directed by the Security Manager.
- Conducting assigned Internal Security Controls through performance of compliance assessment reviews and self-inspections to ensure compliance with government and company regulations/requirements. Identifies deficiencies and recommends corrective action.
- Initiate, track, and process clearance investigations.
- Provide prompt status on complex security concepts to management and customers.
- Complete DD254 requests and tracking for prime and sub-contractor companies.
- Responsible for program area management, maintenance and alarm response.
- Responsible for data call(s) and rosters as required by customers.
- Conducts Administrative inquiries (e.g., collect and analyze data, conduct interviews and write reports) on personnel, processes and situations.
- Develops, implements and administers an Operational Security program, security education, procedures and physicals controls to ensure compliance with government and company regulations/requirements.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications:
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:
- Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g., Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Active TS/SCI with polygraph.
- Working knowledge of the NISPOM and other DoD regulations as applicable.
- Ability to work in fast-paced, complex, and dynamic environment.
- Computer skills to include Microsoft Suite products.
- Must be able to work effectively with other employees and interact effectively with diverse groups of people to include other contractors and customers.
- Self-starter, strong organizational, written, oral, good presentation skills and analytic skills are an essential job requirement.
- This position requires the candidate to be flexible, demonstrate acute attention to detail, and can adapt to new processes as required by different contracts.
- Ability to work in person at Annapolis Junction, MD facility - 5 days a week.
- Live within 40-mile radius of Annapolis Junction facility and respond to alarms after hours.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Self-starter with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communications skills, speaking, writing skills, and organizational skills enabling effective communications.
- Ability to excel in a fast-passed deadline-driven environment.
