JOB DESCRIPTION
The Information Security Consultant serves as an advisor and/or senior member leader across domain security initiatives to identify vulnerabilities in systems, controls, and standards gaps. This includes leading efforts, designing, implementing and executing processes and controls for security functional areas. Defines strategic objectives and supporting goals to enhance the security of systems, networks, and technical platforms and drives progress of team objectives and achievements.

- Typically a Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
- Typically five or more years of relevant experience
- Thorough understanding of the applicable information security systems, policies, and procedures
- Effective communication, presentation skills, leadership, problem-solving and analytical skill
Responsibilities:
THE ROLE OFFERS A HYBRID/FLEXIBLE SCHEDULE, WHICH MEANS THERE’S AN IN-OFFICE EXPECTATION OF 3 OR MORE DAYS PER WEEK AND THE FLEXIBILITY TO WORK OUTSIDE THE OFFICE LOCATION FOR THE OTHER DAYS AT ONE OF THE FOLLOWING LOCATIONS:
- Cincinnati, OH
The Information Security Consultant will be responsible for collecting and cascading high-level strategies for Cyber Defense functional areas into scorecards, breaking them down further into goals, KPIs, risks, and initiatives, and designing and maintaining a balanced scorecard using business frameworks and business intelligence tools such as Microsoft Power BI.
Additionally, the Information Security Consultant will be responsible for pinpointing and addressing core issues within business initiatives and evaluating risk factors when making critical business decisions. The individual will present senior leaders with detailed analysis and periodic insightful reporting; and will complete special projects and initiatives with skillful oversight and support. - Power BI - transform an excel spreadsheet into a Power BI dashboard
- Strategy – Business Scorecards
- Executive Communication Skills – write content for executive level audiences
