Description:
Astek is proposing an opportunity for Senior Informatica Developer with strong technical and hands-on experience focusing on Informatica development and infrastructure to support our Project based in Singapore .
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Understand the business requirement or the downstream process requirement
- Deliver Informatica PowerCenter solution implementation and support
- Managing and supporting exiting Informatica infrastructure in Linux environment
- Developing and maintaining Informatica PowerCenter solutions 10.2
- Work with Data Mapper and Data modeler to define the dataflow and implement the ETL to fulfill the requirement
- Designing and developing complex Informatica ETL processes that integrate large data sets from multiple sources
- Monitor throughout the project delivery life cycle in order to manage the scope, schedule, and cost for IT projects
- Performing systems and data analysis to implement and optimize Informatica mappings and ETL workflows, data flows, shell scripts and stored procedure
- Ensuring accuracy and integrity of data and applications through analysis, coding, writing clear documentation and problem resolution
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 5 years of experience of Informatica development
- Solid experience with Informatica and intermedia Unix scripting
- Experience working with a job scheduler application (Autosys) to design and schedule Informatica workflow
- Experience with SQL - based databases (Oracle , MySQL , etc.)
- Strong in writing SQL Queries
- Proficiency in Microsoft office (MS Word, Excel & Power point)
- Possessing .NET development skills will be additional advantage
- Ability to manage change and complexity with confidence
