Required:

• 3+ years of clinical experience with progressive leadership responsibilities

Preferred:

• Graduate degree Preferred

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Provide 24/7 operational oversight and management to local team to provide customer support, education, implement clinical changes, coordinate and collaborate with local SME to plan, deliver, and evaluate changes related to the use of technology and date.
• The manager is responsible for ensuring rigorous documentation of problems, design sessions, planning, collaboration and implementation activities of their teams. The manger maintains 24/7 accountability for departmental oversight.
• Ensures that all problems have discrete metrics of outcomes to ensure a scientific and rigorous approach to outcomes.
• Maintains a culture within the team and with external collaboration upholding the RWJBH standards of ethics, culturally congruent practice, and communication/ collaboration.
• Maintains open communication among clinical user groups to determine issues or problem areas and facilitates resolutions. Coordinates and provides for communication among users, IT, nursing, and other clinical services.
• Maintains membership on appropriate committees as needed to facilitate the ongoing process of the design, implementation, and revision of automated and manual components of the clinical information systems.
• Collaborates with local SME s in Quality and Regulatory under the guidance of leadership to ensure optimal quality of practice by ensuring awareness and competency to new regulations
• Responsible for managing direct report including but not limited to professional development, competencies, rounding and continuing education.
• Applicant is expected to obtain and maintain Epic certification as current in accordance with dept requirements.
