Description:
The post holder will be responsible for gathering and analysing evidence and presenting this in the form of evaluation, with the aim of providing complex intelligence to the local system to ensure effective commissioning, delivery of services, and the best use of resources. The candidate will be required to plan, develop and mobilise evaluations in line with programme requirements and then assess and appraise evidence gathered through systematic methods and engagement techniques. They will also have responsibility for reporting and communicating the findings from all the available evidence to show what, if any, progress has been made towards the achievement of pre-determined outcomes. They will also be required to collate and analyse data to produce intelligent information which informs decision making, performance monitoring and planning.
The role will require an innovative approach to analytics, and working in collaboration with stakeholders including programme and clinical leads, commissioners and delivery partners. You will also be expected to use story telling approaches to influence people accessing the services and key decision makers. The post holder will have experience of using at least one of qualitative, quantitative and health economic approaches and a wide knowledge of research methods and principles used in the evaluation of local services and interventions to establish evidence of effectiveness.
