Description:
JOB SUMMARY:
The Information & Configuration Manager will be responsible for managing the project information, data & configuration management requirements. The individual will consider Client requirements and Contractual agreements and will ensure that systems for data lifecycle management are implemented on the project. The individual will work to ensure that the project’s information & data management is delivered in compliance with the requirement’s identified within the Client’s processes and procedures.
The Information & Configuration Manager will work with the Project team to maintain information management standards across the project and will act as the advisor for all project related information and configuration management concerns. This will be done by implementing project processes that is aligned to the Client’s Company Management System & information & configuration management requirements. This will include developing the appropriate strategy, KPIs, dashboards, procedures, best practices, lessons learned and reporting systems / applications which align to the Client’s policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
The position is open to United Kingdom (UK) Nationals only. Some UK dual citizens may be considered. This position is also subject to a successful interview and agreement upon terms and conditions of employment. Candidate must be able to obtain an SC security clearance.
The Information & Configuration Manager will provide a service to effectively manage activities related to both information & configuration management and to ensure quality and security aspects of document information management is maintained.
This position is designated as part-time telework per our global telework policy and may require at least three days of in-person attendance per week at the assigned office or project. Weekly in-person schedules will be determined by the individual and their supervisor, in consultation with functional or project leadership.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Requires bachelor’s degree (or international equivalent) and a number of years of relevant experience.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- 15+ years’ experience in Information & Configuration Management across infrastructure programmes of significant size and complexity, preferably within nuclear or highly regulated industry
- Hands on experience of a ISO27001 or equivalent environment
- In-depth knowledge of designing and implementing information & configuration management strategies and process improvement practices across large programmes and multi-disciplinary teams
- Ability to set up and implement information management systems and processes in a fast-paced environment
- Process driven with excellent attention to detail
- Strong leadership and influencing skills to manage and motivate teams in and outside of the Project
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Outstanding track record of information & configuration management improvement and delivery
- Excellent presentation and reporting skills
- Have an in-depth understanding of the design and delivery requirements of technically complex projects in the architectural / engineering / construction sectors
- Experience of dealing with a range of stakeholders at all levels across the organisation influencing the improvement of process and guidance to support project delivery and reporting
- An understanding of Security Management arrangements would be advantageous
- The role will be based primarily at Aldermaston, UK however travel to Bechtel’s London office may also be required. Flexibility in work location includes three days per week working at the project site and two days working from home or the Bechtel office.

Responsibilities:
- Accountable for the information management strategy and overall management of the information management processes
- Collaborative working with and amongst different stakeholder teams to ensure effective engagement with the strategy and compliance with processes
- Provide compliance measurement of project with the information management governance processes, and continuous improvement of the governance provisions
- Responsible for the collation and escalation of information management issues and concerns to the Head of Information Management and Project Leadership
- Leading the compliance monitoring of the information management systems and creation of quality monitoring methods for information management on the project
- Responsible for configuration of the information management system regarding metadata fields, metadata values and user management
- Supporting the development and implementation of the document retention and turnover plans
- Supporting the project close-out activities
- Providing guidance to the project teams on best practice for information management
- Managing document management activities such as publishing, generating reports, generating, and issuing transmittals, library management, etc
- Lead the delivery of information management processes appropriate for each category and classification of information to ensure effective control and management of documents/records
