Responsibilities:

The Careers and Employability Service mission is for all our students to feel equipped, by the time they graduate, to secure a positive graduate outcome in professional level employment, self-employment, or further study. To help achieve this, we support students and graduates in obtaining part time and graduate employment, volunteering opportunities, work experience, postgraduate study or to start their business.
The role is primarily based on the Welcome Desk in the Careers and Employability Centre, providing the first point of contact for all visitors with a variety of enquires in person, by phone, via e-mail or virtual services. The postholder will ensure that students, graduates, staff, and employers feel welcomed and supported and receive an excellent level of customer service. This will involve providing information, signposting to colleagues, booking appointments, rooms, and event support.
The role will also include administrative responsibilities to ensure that the Careers and Employability Service provides an excellent student experience, assisting with our online careers platform, jobs board, resources, marketing, and outreach activity.
