Description:
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Responsible for both classroom and staff automation equipment across the FCoE & FS; daily operations of all Enterprise Classroom Program (ECP) facilities to include the daily preventive maintenance of classroom equipment and performing upgrades required to both instructor and student computers.
- Ensure that all users have completed an Installation Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) and the minimum required user training as specified in Army Policy as outlined in AR 25-2. The Contractor personnel shall also ensure that the user’s AUP and annual user Awareness Training is uploaded into the Army Training and Certification Tracking System (ATCTS).
- Track and report DoD Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts (IAVA). Collect data as required in obtaining and maintaining Risk Management Framework (RFM) certifications.
- Operate and maintain Information Technology (IT) infrastructure within the FCoE.
- Provide Tier I and II help desk support and desktop touch labor for MS Windows systems.
- Coordinate with the G6 and/or Network Enterprise Center (NEC) to install, configure, troubleshoot, scan and repair personal computer workstations, classroom workstations, thin client workstations, personal digital assistant (PDA) devices, printers, and operating systems.
- Coordinate with the G6 and/or NEC to load, configure and troubleshoot software applications unique to the FCoE & FS customer. For standalone networks (non NIPR/SIPR), administer access controls and lock systems out of the network that are not authorized or moved without coordination, and report associated incidents.
- Follow the Information Systems (IS) security guidance policies as provided by Information Assurance Management (IAM) policy and perform IASO duties as per Army Regulation 25-1 and 25-2.
- Follow system access, operation, maintenance, and disposition policies.
- Required to diagnose and repair software or hardware computer problems, perform software or hardware upgrades and trouble shoot and configure software to user specifications.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Have knowledge of DoD 8500.1 (Department of Defense Information Assurance Policy) and DoD 8500.2 (Department of Defense Information Assurance Implementations).
- Have knowledge of AR 25-2, Army Cybersecurity. Act as Information Assurance Support Officers (IASO) assuming the responsibilities as outlined in AR 25-2.
- Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to climb/work at heights of 20 feet.
