We have a great opportunity for an Information Coordinator to join our regional construction business.
Location: Manchester
Hours: Full Time, Permanent
Responsibilities:
WHAT WILL YOU BE RESPONSIBLE FOR?
The information coordinator role within our information management function will focus on adopting our information management process across projects, ensuring compliance with industry / Kier standards, focusing on ISO 19650, and helping to deliver against client requirements.
The successful candidate will highlight any errors throughout the quality assurance process and have awareness of the golden thread and associated requirements.
As Information Coordinator you’ll be working with a wide range of project teams across the region, supporting in the effective management of digital information
Your day to day duties will include:
- Managing the CDE for the lifecycle of the project in line with Kier procedures and ISO1950 standards.
- Manage and host training sessions for new users of the project CDE (currently Viewpoint), either with groups or on an individual basis, as required
- Assist the Information Management team with the implementation of Asite, our new CDEAct as the main point of contact for ongoing support and coaching, including third parties such as client teams, designers, and subcontractors for Asite
- Provide ongoing maintenance of project file naming protocols with the Senior Information Coordinator and project team, in line with Kier protocols and ISO 19650
- Fully understand the project protocols, effectively communicate, and educate all stakeholders, ensuring they are strictly adhered to
- Validate check and curate all incoming and outgoing project documentation to the CDE including receipt, classification, verification, registry, distribution, and retrieval
This role of Information Coordinator is great for you if you can demonstrate:
- Competent experience with EDMS, e.g Asite, Viewpoint, 4Projects etc
- Competence with the Microsoft 365 suite of tools, specifically Excel, Teams, and SharePoint
- Diligent, exacting standards of information control
- Ability to understand and to convey security permissions to stakeholder
