THE OPPORTUNITY:

A rare opportunity has arisen to join the Zurich UK Information Governance Team as Information Governance Support. UK Information Governance team play a key role in keeping Zurich employee and customer data safe and also are regularly involved in creating policies and processes that are adopted globally.
As the team have a UK wide remit you will engage with stakeholders across the Zurich UK business, all levels of seniority and sometimes also with teams in the Group Head Office in Switzerland.
You will start by supporting the Information Governance Analyst with data leakage prevention. As you become more comfortable with the process and our methodology, you will start being involved in the wider aspects of the team and as the scope of the work is so wide it is unlikely any 2 days will be the same.

Responsibilities:

As part of the UK Chief Operating Officer’s wider team, reporting to the Information Governance Manager, you will start by building an in-depth understanding of tools, processes and policies that are designed to track information leaving the Zurich organisation and ensuring that it only does so if it should.
Assisting the Information Governance Analyst with data analysis and investigations operating with minimum supervision on the smaller investigations.
Recognising the confidentiality of the data you may be working with and handling it appropriately.
Tracking investigations through to completion and ensuring documentation is accurate and up to date.
Supporting the wider information governance team with administrative tasks such as minutes for key meetings, quarterly MI reporting, SharePoint management, team mailbox and UK communications.
Developing good relationships with key stakeholders including but not limited to legal, Zurich Group counterparts, the people team, data protection and governance managers.
Helping the team deal with the varied and diverse queries that are received from Zurich UK projects and business teams.
