Description:

As the Information Management Advisor, you will be responsible for assisting the Information Manager to develop and implement the strategy for information management for Wilmar Sugar. You will work with IT to implement and support the new business Information Management System and SharePoint environments, along with other initiatives and improvements. You will work with stakeholders across Wilmar Sugar Australia and New Zealand to address their information needs. The role is an integral part of the Information Management leadership team.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Information Manager to develop and implement the Information Management Strategy for Wilmar Sugar.
  • Provide expert advice on complying with relevant regulatory requirements, the management of information, and the architecture of information management systems.
  • Work closely with the Information Manager and stakeholders to understand, interpret and document the functional requirements to be accommodated within the information management system for contract management and HR records.
  • Become an expert user of the Information Management System and provide training and technical support for people to use the new system.
  • Collaborate closely with the Information Manager to oversee Information Management System projects. This involves developing project documents, contributing to system configuration design, generating regular project reports, and managing the project budget effectively.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships across the organisation.
  • Communicate effectively with non-technical and technical people, acting as a translator between the two groups where required.
    The Successful Applicant
    The ideal candidate will hold a tertiary qualification in Information Management, Business Management, or a related field. You should have experience creating system requirements documents and knowledge of information management systems. Familiarity with quality and safety standards, privacy regulations, and risk management is essential. Advanced skills in Microsoft Office, particularly MS Word and SharePoint, are required, along with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
