EDUCATION:
Successful completion of a post-secondary educational program* related to the position OR an acceptable combination of education, experience, and training.
- The educational program must be from an accredited learning institution recognized in Canada. If you completed a program outside of Canada, you will be required to obtain proof of a Canadian equivalency at your expense from an accredited learning institution recognized in Canada.

EXPERIENCE:
E1 – Recent* and significant* experience working in an Information Management (IM) support capacity (which includes maintaining data integrity, organizing information resources and supporting information governance initiatives.
E2 – Recent and significant** experience performing records management activities for each step of its lifecycle (which includes maintaining records integrity, organizing information resources and ensuring compliance with IM governance policies and procedures).
E3 – Experience providing client service within an information management context (which includes responding to inquiries in a timely and accurate manner, communicating with stakeholders, resolving information management related issues and ensuring client satisfaction).
E4 – Experience working with records management tools components with an Electronic Record Management System such as IRIMS, RIMS, Livelink, GCDocs and RM Extensions.
EDUCATION:
Information Management Certification or designation*.

EXPERIENCE:
AE1 – Experience working in research and analysis regarding the life cycle of information management.
AE2 – Experience in delivering IM operational services in the federal public service.
AE3 – Experience in entering and manipulating data in databases and using Microsoft Excel.
AE4 – Experience using Microsoft SharePoint.
Responsibilities:
The Information Management (IM) Analyst is accountable for the provision of expertise to employees and managers of the Parliamentary Protective Service (PPS). This expertise relates to the legislation, policies and obligations related to information management tools and practices within the PPS.
