Infrastructure Management Analyst

  • Carries out VMware Vcenter and ESXi administration activities including Health checks, Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, Query and Service Level Management activities;
  • Responds to enquiries and is able to deal effectively with a broad range of issues.
  • Carries out planning and tracking of tasks, for the subordinates.
  • Supervises and gives instruction to less experienced colleagues in all aspects of current and correct operational practice.
  • Act as first level of contact for Virtualization Operation team for all BAU related matter including Incident engagement from MIM.
  • Work on Incident and assigned changes of Virtualization Operation queue.
  • Assist L1 support team to manage any Critical events which required follow up action and technical escalation.
  • Prepare and plan proper shift handover to next shift and make sure follow up actions are handover to next shift.
  • Initiate technical/process wise escalations based on the defined escalation matrix While working on Incident/change or reported issue.
  • We are looking for a dedicated and experienced technician who can work via processes but also has a flexible attitude to perform tailored services for the clients.
  • Required to work in rotating shifts(24x7) and also provide standby support if required

• Required to support multiple customers • Perform all the L1/L2 activities and take initiative to work on L3 activities 4-5 years in Vmware
