Join this exciting new initiative as an Information Security Analyst
The Information Security Analyst will be assigned to the Cyber and Information Security organization supporting their Principle of Least Privilege (PoLP)security controls project. This project will provide an internal audit to ensure appropriate rights across all environments.
Preferred Skills:
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH.
- Experience with incident response and forensic analysis
Responsibilities:
YOUR FUTURE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Evaluation of current user access levels and permissions across all systems (service and non-human accounts, then user accounts).
- Analyze data from client’s attack path management solution
- Removal of Tier 0 admin access
- Establish appropriate access levels based on specific job roles and responsibilities.
- Deploy controls to enforce least privilege access across the organization.
- Comprehensive analysis of current access levels across systems.
- Detailed strategy for deploying access controls and technical measures.
- Employee education on PoLP and secure practices
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Prepare and present reports on security incidents, vulnerabilities, and risks to management.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in cybersecurity or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of security principles, practices, and technologies.
- Strong understanding of PoLP security practices
- Proficiency with security tools and technologies (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH.
- Experience with incident response and forensic analysis.
