JOB SUMMARY:
The analyst role is responsible for assessing and troubleshooting incoming tickets with a strong focus on ensuring a timely assessment on incoming work, escalation to the wider team and completion of entry level client work.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years’ experience
- Knowledge of security management principles.
- Ability to communicate, both internally and externally
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Good standard of both written and verbal communication
- Ability to manage and prioritise workload
- Must be a self-starter, who can both work independently and as part of a team
- Desire to progress and develop within the role
- Ability to take ownership of tasks from start to finish
- Keen attention to detail
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS & COMPETENCIES
- 2 to 3 years’ experience
- CompTIA, SSCP, Security+, ISACA Cybersecurity Fundamentals.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with potential/existing client relationships to help progress the RFI process
- Assist with the administration of internal and external audits
- Lead on the vetting of new and existing vendors
- Assist in the administration and ongoing maintenance of the
- Information Security Risk Register
- Lead in the response to urgent client security questionnaires
- Assist the team with the administration of internal Vulnerability
- Assessments and Penetration Tests
- Help manage the administration of key security tasks within the team
- Assist with the implementation and maintenance of physical security
- Prepare key metric reports for the Security and Compliance Team
- Lead in the review and ongoing maintenance of security operating procedures.
