POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Information Security Architect (ISA) Associate will be responsible for working with the organization’s Lines of Business (LOB) Project teams to aid in the design of secure business systems and solutions!

Responsibilities include:

• Function as team’s LOB first contact in architecture discovery
• Collect, interpret, evaluate, and validate business requirements, functions and processes associated with assigned projects
• Work with the Project Team and technical team members to develop solution and security architectures that are in compliance under the mentorship of senior staff architects
• Identify security risks and provide recommendations, solutions, and options to best mitigate those risks
• Have a basic understanding of industry standard InfoSec control frameworks such as ISO 27001/27002, NIST, and CIS

QUALIFICATIONS:

• BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related technical field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience
• 1+ years of information technology experience, preferably in the infrastructure space

Demonstrate basic understanding of:

• Cloud security (IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS) across multiple cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, and Google.
• Network security and segmentation
• Data security, Data Loss Prevention, Data Masking
• Application security (Multi-Tier Web and Client-Server)
• End-Point Security (desktops, laptops, servers, etc.)
• Mobile device security (smartphones, tablets, iPads, etc.), to include Bring Your Own Device (BYOD)
• Next Generation Firewalls
• External Secure Web Gateways and CASBs
• Network and Host-based IDS/IPS
• Encryption (Symmetric and Asymmetric)
• User Behavior Analytics
• Malware and Spam/Phishing Detection and Prevention
• Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)
• Identity and Access Management (IAM)
• Azure & AWS
• ADFS and other federated technologies
• Mobile Device Management & Mobile Application Management
• CompTIA Security +, Associate of IC2 preferred
