TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate and communicate: Coordinate and track information security work items with stakeholders at the VP level and below across SERRALA, the Information Security Officer (ISO), and the Security and Compliance team. Effectively communicate the relative importance and priority of improvements and corrective actions.
  • Schedule, plan, track: Plan, track, and coordinate long-term schedules and periodic reviews for audits, risk assessments, asset management, document reviews, security and awareness training, and independent security assessments with all Serrala departments and suppliers.
  • Follow up, report, unblock: Track the progress and schedule of agreed work items and report regularly to the Information Security Officer on status, progress, and blockers.
  • Support: Support the Security and Compliance Team in organizing and prioritizing their internal work items.

WHAT WILL MAKE YOU SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE:

  • Collaborator and motivator: You love to collaborate, cooperate, communicate, and see people succeed in achieving their goals and committed work items. You can assess the actual workload of your colleagues and be able to adjust timing as needed without compromising hard deadlines that your teams must meet from time to time.
  • Organized and process-oriented: You know the tools and different methodologies to help people get things done effectively, for teams with both technical and non-technical backgrounds and work styles. You can identify bottlenecks and problems that are process rather than people-related and recommend adjustments to unblock progress.
  • You know your tools: You have years of experience with project management tools and ticketing systems. You are familiar with the Atlassian and the Microsoft O365 product suites.• Data-driven: Your reporting is based on facts from the tools, and you know how to effectively generate and extract reports from the tools at hand, both to inform your own decisions and to provide concise and excellent reporting to the Information Security Officer, and the Serrala management at all levels with whom you interact.
